At Symmetry Financial Group, we strive to exemplify our core values every day, and in turn, we strive to celebrate those who go out of their way to put people first. Today we are celebrating a selfless act of service from Managing Vice President Mike Pappas , who redirected funds set aside to buy his dream car for his 40th birthday to raise $40,000 in 40 days and double his supporters’ impact.
“I realized as much as I enjoy traveling and owning nice things like a Tesla, my heart beats for helping people,” Mike explained. “Serving my family, friends, business partners and clients is what I do. My drive in life is to serve and empower others.”
In total, Mike raised $83,000 which was distributed to several organizations. These funds brought clean water to 735 people for life, provided a trade school education to ten Haitian high school graduates, supported hundreds of children fighting childhood cancer and granted three wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
